Director, Procurement – Canada for Compass Minerals, Jennifer moved to Goderich in early 2015. Prior to working at Compass Minerals, she was a controller and accounting manager for thirteen years at Aerospace, General Industry, and Automotive manufacturing plants. In addition to serving as Treasurer on the Chamber Board, Jennifer also serves as Treasurer of the Huron Women’s Shelter, Second Stage Housing, and Counselling Services Board, Secretary of the Unit 249 American Contract Bridge League Board and representative to the ACBL District 2 Board, and is a former member of the Goderich Economic Development Committee. In her spare time, she plays competitive Duplicate Bridge (she is a bronze life master), reads, cooks, hangs out with her family, and drinks wine, not necessarily in that order.

John is past owner of MicroAge Basics, with locations in Goderich, Wingham, and Kincardine. John and his wife, Maureen, moved to Goderich in 1984 with the start of their company and have been proud community members ever since. John has devoted his life to the betterment of the community by being a part of numerous committees and associations and has proudly raised his family of four in the area.   With the addition of four grand kids, John continues to enjoy what the Goderich community has to offer.

Mark Woodward is originally from London. Retiring after 32 years working civilian contract positions with The Department of National Defence, he came to Goderich when his spouse, Jennifer, came to take over as controller of Compass Minerals Goderich Mine operation. In his retirement he has been involved as Special Operations consultant for Badger Daylighting (Sarnia), and ran a 15-person crew for the 2015 Census. Mark is also former Operations Manager for the Chamber of Commerce and is now on the board and following his dreams working as an administrator at Tribute Studios in beautiful downtown Goderich.

Founder at Lautens and Clark, Bob and his wife are now the owners of Kildonan House Bed and Breakfast in Clinton. Bob is also a member of the Senate of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada (Princess Louise’s).

Recognized as an expert in Fund and Resource Development, Partner Relations and Not For Profit Communications, as well as developing employment, networking and new business opportunities in both Not For Profit and corporate sectors and training, Staffing and Recruitment in the HR field.

Cindy has over 20 years of combined management experience in not-for-profit, government relations, municipal politics, marketing & communications and sales & event planning. After relocating to Goderich early in January 2021, she now enjoys her passion of woodworking, owning and operating Edge Wood Decor.

Cindy is known for her enthusiasm and ability to secure new community partners and foster long-term stakeholder relations. Her efforts have resulted in local, national and international recognition. Some of her achievements and volunteer affiliations include but are not limited to: 4-year term on Sarnia City Council, 4-year Executive Member of the St. Clair Conservation Authority, Procedural Bylaw Review Committee Chair, 2-time International Keynote Speaker Houston Texas, 2-time Past President Seaway Kiwanis Service Club, Media Relations Chair Seaway Kiwanis, Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, Harmony For Youth Past Chair, Young Professionals Past Chair, First Nations Friendship Committee Member, Age Friendly Steering Committee Member and Inn of the Good Shepherd Volunteer.

Jodi Snell is a real estate sales representative. Jodi has worked and lived in and around Wingham for the past 15 years and enjoys supporting the community and local businesses. Through her work she enjoys welcoming new residents to the community and sharing with them the great opportunities Huron County has to offer.

Elite fitness professional, trainer, speaker, author, and business owner Nadine VandenHeuvel is the owner of fitness facilities and is nearing 12 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness industry and over 9 years of experience being a Lady Boss. She’s trained thousands of people and mentored dozens of trainers throughout her years of owning her fitness facilities. She has helped over 150 people lose 25 lbs, 100 people lose 50 lbs, 5 people lose 75 pounds and 1 person lose 150 lbs. A business that began in a grass field back in 2008 laid out the groundwork for an ever-evolving business empire.

Nadine has been passionate since then to change the way that fitness was viewed and being done in her local community and beyond, since that day. In 2014, she earned the “˜Inspiring Young Woman in Huron’ award. In 2016 she earned the title, “Personal Trainer of the Year” by CanFitPro. Nadine has received many other nominations over the years for Young Entrepreneur and Business of the Year. She currently employs 14 rockstar team members known as her “˜Dream Team’ who serve over 500 members since opening her doors in January 2011.
